Workgroup Deoxidation and Analytics

The working group will initially coordinate the exchange on the effectiveness and mechanisms of the different mechanical, thermal and plasma chemical deoxidation processes used in the CRC. The examined variables, such as the material to be deoxidized, temperatures, effective durations, plasma parameters, used process gases etc. are included and compared. With the help of the knowledge gained, a database of suitable material-specific deoxidation processes and process parameters will then be developed.
